Meta account password change (cloud only account),
first time only after creation
Navigate to https://portal.office.com (open in an Incognito or In-Private instance so you don’t have cached credentials for any other account):
Input your password (Current):
Enter the current, new and confirm new based on the usual needs of the password for Meta accounts:
Click Sign in to have it change the password:
Once changed you will get the above screen, click on the X at the top right to close:
Once in, we have verified that the account can sign into Microsoft interactions.
To sign out, click on the account name at the bottom left:
Click on Sign out on the small blade appears (top right):
Once fully signed out, you will get the following screen:
Now your account can access any Microsoft sign in it is allowed to.
