Turn on the device and wait for the Welcome! Screen:

Click on Start:

Click on Agree at the bottom (click on Agree to all (optional button) first if needed):

Wait while it finds available connections:

 

Choose CaseGuest:

Accept the terms to continue to the next screen:

Wait for the Getting your phone ready…screen to process:

Wait for the screen that says This device belongs to your organization to process:

Let it finalize the Getting ready for work setup…:

Wait for the Set up your phone screen, then click Continue:

Wait for the Setting up your device…screen to finalize:

Once on the This device isn’t private screen, click Next:

Wait for the Updating device screen to complete:

On the Welcome to Chrome screen, click Add account to device:

Wait for the process to finish:

At the Microsoft Sign in screen, input your case credentials (abc123@case.edu):

Enter your corresponding password/pass phrase:

Click on Sign in once you have both fields completed:

Ignore the Save password? Screen.  You can swipe up on it to make it go away:

Set up continues until you get prompted for MFA:

Input your chosen MFA, likely Duo, in the usual way:

If you are the only user of the device, click on Yes, this is my device, otherwise click on No, other people use this device:

After making your selection, it will continue:

You may be prompted to give a code from your device for verification.  Sometimes this is your cell phone number it texts to, etc.  Input code if needed to continue:

After validation, it continues:

You will see the Your work checklist:

Click on the Install button under Install work apps heading:

This will start the download and install of the listed apps:

Once it completes an app it will put a green checkmark next to it:

In this case, you have two apps so it will show a green checkmark next to each when they are both done:

Once they are both installed, the button will light up in the bottom, click Done:

Next you will need to click on Set up under Register your device:

You will have to sign in again, click SIGN IN to do so:

Once you put in your username and password again, click Continue on the Are you trying to sign in to Microsoft Authentication Broker?, it will continue:

Click Register on the Help us keep your device secure screen:

You will get prompted again about the broker, click continue:

Intune will then sign in:

It will run through multiple settings:

Once you get to the Set up Case Western Reserve University access screen, click next:

It will begin registering your device:

You will be asked what category you fall into:

Select the correct category and click OK:

Once Done is selected, you will get the following message:

Once the process finishes it will go back to the default desktop:

Scroll to get to the next screen:

Find the Intune icon and open it:

Click on the item in the list that references device you are on:

Verify the name of the device and search for it in Intune:

Verify that it exists in the CWRU – Android Device Enrollment group membership:

If not there, add it via members and add member.  You can verify on the members section under Manage:

Once you have verified it is there, go back to the phone:

Click on Sync and wait for it to complete:

You will get a message saying you need to update settings:

Click on the Continue button:

Choose set a device password:

Click the RESOLVE button:

Click on PIN at the top:

Change settings, then click Done:

Click on RESOLVE to continue:

Enter a PIN and then confirm it:

Wait for the process to complete:

Once you have two green checks, click continue to finalize:

You can go here at any time to sync the device with Intune:

Close out and go back to the default desktop screen:

Your device is now set up to be managed at the Case Western Reserve University.
