Quickly access important records, lists, groups, reports, dashboards and other frequently used pages in Salesforce. A favorite is similar to a bookmark in a web browser, but your Salesforce favorites list is always available regardless of the browser or computer that you use.

How do I favorite a page?

  1. Navigate to any page you would like to remember - dashboard, report, list, student Case record, any Contact etc.
  2. Click on the grey star in the top right header to add it as a favorite > the star turns white with blue background
  3. To navigate back to this favorite anytime, select the dropdown arrow to the right of the star and scroll through your list
  4. To unfavorite any page:
    • Navigate to the page and toggle the star off
    • Or use the dropdown next to the star to pull up the entire favorites list > click 'Edit Favorites' at the bottom > click the X next to the favorite you want to remove

What else can I do with favorites?

  1. From the dropdown next to the star you can search all your favorites using the 'Find Favorite' search box
    • every user can have up to 200 favorites
  2. After clicking 'Edit Favorites', you can then rearrange them by clicking/dragging any 3 line icon on the right
