Canceling an Adobe Free Trial or Paid Subscription if purchased through Adobe on your CWRU account

CWRU's official access to Adobe is via the CWRU Software Center website, https://softwarecenter.case.edu/ , but Adobe also allows people to use their CWRU email address to create personal accounts.  This is not recommended by CWRU, but if it does happen, here's how to access the personal account and cancel your trial/subscription:

  • Open an Incognito/Private Window

    • Go to account.adobe.com. Using an incognito window prevents your browser from automatically logging you into your work/organization profile.

  • Sign In and Select "Personal Profile"

    • Enter your work email address. When prompted with the profile chooser, select Personal Profile. (Do not select Company or School Account.)

Once logged into your personal account you should be able to cancel the trial/subscription.
