Are you a student? If so, we leave the decision on whether or not to use Canvas up to each instructor. Please check with your instructor to see if they plan on using Canvas for the course (hopefully they do!). If your instructor will be using Canvas and you have recently enrolled in a course in SIS, it can take up to 24 hours before Canvas will reflect enrollment changes from SIS.
If you're an instructor, it's likely that you have not created your courses using the Canvas Wizard yet. In order for courses to appear in Canvas, you must first create them in the Wizard. You will only be able to create courses where you are the instructor of record in SIS. We have a written guide, as well as a tutorial video, for creating courses with the Canvas Wizard.
