Troubleshooting why you cannot use the desktop client or web client: 

1. Can you login to the Desktop Client?

   1. If no, make sure the following:

      1. Correct connection server address? (How to Install the Horizon Omnissa Desktop Client)

      2. On the latest update?

      3. Can you login to the MyApps web portal?

         1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​If no, move on to next step

2. Can they login to the web portal?

   1. Try incognito mode

   2. If yes, Clear the cookies and cache

   3. If NO, email help@case.edu

3. Can you login to portal.office.com?

   1. If NO email help@case.edu

   2. If Yes then they should have access

      1. If your still unable to login to the Desktop client email help@case.edu

Next please verify the EU has a OneDrive folder by launching a VDI, e.g. the ‘Windows 11’ VDI from the Horizon client.  After first login it may take some time for their files to sync.

3. Onedrive is only showing some of the files they had in their H drive

   1. Please login to the W11 VDI

   2. Open up file explorer an and go to one of the following file paths

      1. If they are a Graduate 

         1. \\cxp-dfs-01\Grad\cwruID

      2. If you are an Undergraduate or a brand new Graduate

         1. \\cxp-dfs-01\UGrad\cwruID

   3. Each person has rights to their OWN “H” drive and can access. 

   4. If your Staff or Faculty email help@case.edu

I can't see the apps I had before:

1. CWRU did a redesign on who gets what apps due to licensing. If you need an app you do not currently don’t have access to, like Solidworks, please make sure the following is in the ticket:

   1. Is this for academic or research purposes

      1. If for Research you will need to buy the app. CWRU is for academic purposes only

   2. Is this for a club or class?
