How to Use OneDrive for Streamed Apps

Having trouble opening your files in your OneDrive account? Read below. 

Tip! You should only need to sign in to the OneDrive app ONCE to see the OneDrive folder in the streamed app. If it disappears, follow this process again and let help@case.edu know and how long it lasted.

  1. Click here

  1. Scroll to the "OneDrive" folder and open it

  1. Opening the application

  1. Login with YOUR CWRU email address

  1. Click "Next"

  1. Uncheck Pictures and click "Start backup"

  1. Click "Open my OneDrive Folder"

  1. This is Your OneDrive folder. Same as on your VDI and Web.

  1. Click the "X" button

  1. Open the App you are trying to use  -  In this case its Notepad++

  1. Click "File"

  1. Click "Open"

  1. Click "OneDrive"

  1. Browse to the file/folder

  1. Open the file

Tip! The "open window" might look like a drop down (look below) depending on the app being used.

     15.5.  From the drop down click "OneDrive"

     16. File should open right up
