Case Western Reserve University partners with Kuali Foundation, Inc. to provide business continuity planning software to the university community. Known as CWRU Ready, this web-based software is designed to help campus departments create plans for continuity of operations in the event of a disaster or emergency situation. These plans are essential for resuming critical operations that support the mission of the university.

With CWRU Ready, departments can:

• Construct plans in a simple, questionnaire-based approach
• Consider multiple loss scenarios
• Monitor and retrieve plans from any internet-connected device
• Determine who can manage, edit or view individual plans
• Attach documents and files to plans
• Copy plans to use as templates

Common Issues/Questions

How do I activate my CWRU Ready Account?

1. CWRU Ready is being deployed across the university on a department-by-department basis. Each department will be responsible for identifying members of their staff who will be tasked with building and maintaining their group’s business continuity plan.

   Are you charged with updating your department’s business continuity plan? If so, you will receive an email from ready-app@kuali.co when an administrator creates your CWRU Ready account.

2. Click the invitation link in the email from ready-app@kuali.co. If you did not receive the email, check your Spam or Junk email folder.
3. Complete the fields on the resulting screen. Then, click Request access.
   
4. You will receive a follow-up email from ready-app@kuali.co confirming your access. Click the link in the email to reach the CWRU Ready log in page. Consider bookmarking this page for future reference.
   

5. Note: Your CWRU Ready username will be the email address associated with your CWRU Ready account.
