The CWRU wired network provides service for voice and data communications with speeds ranging from 1 to 100 Gbps. Wired network ports are accessible for members of the campus community in most but not all locations across campus. 


Registration is required for all personal or university-owned devices that connect to the wired network. Visit

Wired port activation may also be required to start service.


Activation requests in university housing should be submitted via the
MyHousing portal

Activation requests in administrative or academic buildings can be submitted via the UTech Service Desk.

Availability

Available 24/7, support available 9-5, M-F

Access

The Wired Network is available to CWRU faculty, staff and students through the use of the ports on distributed faceplates.

Cost

Provided to at no additional cost.
