Steps to add an android app via the Managed Google Play store
Navigate to intune.microsoft.com:
Click on Apps on the left blade:
Click on Android located under Platforms in the middle blade:
Click on + Create:
Under App type, choose Managed Google Play app from the pull-down menu:
Once verified you have the proper App type, click Select in blue at the bottom of that blade:
Type your search in the Search box, then click on the Magnifying lens icon:
Using Microsoft 365 as our search, you can see the results. Choose whichever specific you wish to in the displayed results:
Once on the app you want, click on the Select button to highlight it:
Click on the Sync icon just below the Managed Google Play heading:
This will take you back to the main Android apps. After some time passes the app you wanted will appear in the screen. Note Microsoft 365 Copilot is there.
Once you have the app, you can click on it:
Click on Manage, then Properties:
From here you can do assignments, Scope tags, etc.
