Law School – Papercut Web Print

You may upload your documents (Microsoft Office or Adobe PDF) to the PaperCut website and print from there.

Web Print Instructions

  1. Log into the website papercut.case.edu with your University username and password.
    1. Note: You may want to create a shortcut to this page for ease of access.
  2. Click on “Web Print” in the left menu
  3. Click on “Submit a Job”
  4. Select your printer.
  5. Click the button “2. Print Options and Account Selections”
  6. Select the number of copies, which account to charge (personal or shared, if you have access to shared accounts), and click the button “3. Upload Document”
  7. Either choose to drag files to the upload window or click the button “Upload from computer” to select the files (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, XPS or Adobe PDF*) you want to print and then click the button “Upload & Complete”.
  8. Once the job “Status” is listed as “Finished: Queued for printing”, the job has successfully been uploaded to Web Print and sent to the appropriate printer queue. 
  9. PC users: you can obtain the full version of Adobe Acrobat Professional from http://softwarecenter.case.edu. This software allows you to turn anything “printable” (e.g. a web page) into a PDF, which could then be uploaded into PaperCut for printing.
    1. Download and install Adobe Acrobat from http://softwarecenter.case.edu
    2. Go to File, Print in any application, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome
    3. For the printer, select “Adobe PDF”
    4. Save the PDF version of the file and upload to PaperCut as described above.
  10. Mac users: this functionality is built into Apple OSX.
    1. Go to File, Print in any application, such as Safari, Firefox, or Chrome
    2. Click the “PDF” drop down menu in the lower left of the “Print” window
    3. Select “Save as PDF”, save the file, and upload to PaperCut as described above.
