The CWRU wireless network is found in every building and many outdoor locations throughout campus.
CaseWireless:
CaseWireless is a secure wireless network available to users with a valid CWRU Network ID and password. CaseWireless ensures your ability to reach secure resources such as the Software Center and library databases.
Before accessing this secure wireless network for the first time:
- You will be prompted to enter your CWRU Network ID and password
- You may also be prompted to accept one or two certificates that will encrypt your connection
CaseGuest:
CaseGuest is a public wireless network that can be used by anyone within signal range. Because this network is not secured, it is encouraged that members of the CWRU community use the CaseWireless network whenever possible.
CaseRegistered:
CaseRegistered is available for students, faculty, and staff to use devices with limited connection options. These typically include printers, sensors, TVs, streaming media, smart home, and IoT devices. While on campus, devices can be registered in the MyDevices Portal.
