Data Governance

The Data Management, Analytics and Visualization office works in close collaboration with the office of Institutional Research and the Data Governance Committee to envision and implement the Data Governance program at CWRU. Data governance is a collection of data management practices and processes that help organizations manage internal and external data flows. We offer services to assist in cataloging data assets, metadata, and lineages of university data for business and academic units.

Visit the Data Management, Analytics and Visualization website for more information about the importance of cataloging and defining university data assets and how data governance aids in data protection and critical decision making at the university.
