Description 

OnBase is an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system. OnBase is designed to store keyword data while managing documents and business processes. OnBase centralizes important business content in one secure location. OnBase offers reporting, process automation, document retention and management, and much more.

Access

This service is available to staff of Case Western Reserve University. Access to OnBase is typically limited to individuals who deal with managing university documentation, but any faculty/staff member can request support.

Cost

Typical usage and support is provided at no additional cost, though this may vary depending on each department's needs.

How to get it

*OnBase access will not be granted for new users until this training is complete.

All OnBase access requests should be routed to help@case.edu and include the individual's: 

  • First name (no nicknames)
  • Last name
  • Case Network ID
  • Whether they are student/temp/regular employee
  • Desired Role within Onbase or a current user with the desired permissions to be copied for the new user

Once access is granted via UTech’s response to the ticket created, the new user can log into Onbase at case.edu/onbase.
