SpectrumU is a streaming service that allows you to watch over 125 live TV channels and on-demand content on your computer or mobile device while on the CWRU network.
Eligibility
SpectrumU is provided by University Housing for the use of residential students living in residence halls and Greek houses with CWRU network service. This includes many university-operated apartment buildings in the uptown area.
To receive the full channel lineup, your device must be connected to the CaseWireless, CaseGuest, or CaseRegistered wireless networks, or the CWRU wired network. If you leave the campus network with your mobile device, your channel selection will be limited.
Compatible Devices
The following devices are compatible with SpectrumU. Installation instructions for each device are available to assist you.
· Amazon Kindle: Fire Phone and second generation or higher Fire tablets
· Apple iOS: iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running at least iOS 12
· Apple MacOS: Safari 7 or higher, Firefox 45 or higher, Chrome 43 or higher
· Apple TV: players running at least tvOS 13
· Google Android: smartphones and tablets running at least Android 5
· Google Chromecast: via "Cast" option on mobile device or Chrome browser
· Microsoft Windows: IE 11, Chrome 43 or higher, Firefox 45 or higher, MS Edge 12 or higher
· Roku: all third generation or higher players and TVs
SpectrumU does not support Android TV, Amazon Fire sticks, Amazon Fire TVs, Microsoft Xbox, or Sony Playstation.
