SpectrumU Installation Instructions

Follow these instructions to install and access SpectrumU on your supported device.

Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS

SpectrumU is accessible on desktop computers by visiting tv.case.edu in one of the listed browsers. You will be automatically redirected to the Microsoft Azure login page where you should log in with your abc123@case.edu address. You can also visit watch.spectrum.net and choose the "Sign In to Spectrum U" option at the bottom of the login page.

• Google Chrome 43 or higher
• Mozilla Firefox 45 or higher
• Microsoft Edge 12 or higher (Windows only)
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 (Windows only)

Activating player devices will require you to visit watch.spectrum.net/activate to activate a device from a web browser. If you are not already logged in, you'll be prompted to enter your school domain after entering an activation code. Enter "case.edu" and you'll be redirected to our CWRU Microsoft login page.

Amazon Kindle

SpectrumU is available on Fire Phone and second generation or higher Fire tablets. SpectrumU is not available on Fire sticks or Fire TV.

1. Visit the Amzaon App Store and install the SpectrumU app
2. The first time you open the app, enter "case.edu" when prompted for the school domain
3. You'll be directed to the CWRU Microsoft login page to authenticate with your CWRU Network ID and password

You will need to reauthenticate every 14 days.

Apple iOS

SpectrumU is available on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running iOS 12 or higher.

1. Visit the Apple App Store and install the SpectrumU app
2. The first time you open the app, enter "case.edu" when prompted for the school domain
3. You'll be directed to the CWRU Microsoft login page to authenticate with your CWRU Network ID and password

You will need to reauthenticate every 14 days.

Apple TV

SpectrumU is available on AppleTV running tvOS 13 or higher.

1. Visit the Apple TV App Store and install the SpectrumU app
2. Visit watch.spectrum.net/activate to activate your device using the code displayed on the screen

You will need to reactivate an Apple TV device every 60 days.

Google Android

SpectrumU is available on Google Android devices running Android 5 or higher, and all Chromecast devices. SpectrumU is not available on Android TV.

1. Visit the Play Store and install the SpectrumU app
2. The first time you open the app, enter "case.edu" when prompted for the school domain
3. You'll be directed to the CWRU Microsoft login page to authenticate with your CWRU Network ID and password

You will need to reauthenticate every 14 days.

Roku Players and Televisions

SpectrumU is accessible on all third generation or higher Roku players and televisions that run at least version 11 of the Roku software.

1. Visit the Roku Channel Store and install the SpectrumTV channel
2. If you see a screen prompting for a username, press the DOWN arrow and select "SIGN IN WITH SPECTRUMU"
3. Visit watch.spectrum.net/activate to activate your device using the code displayed on the screen

You will need to reactivate the Roku device every 60 days.
