Academic Impressions

Case Western Reserve University has partnered with Academic Impressions, an organization specializing in professional development resources for higher education faculty, staff and administrators. Many Academic Impressions options are free to CWRU employees once they have an account! Topic areas include skills-based training for professionals in all areas, as well as leadership trainings on supervision, personal effectiveness, diversity, equity, inclusion and more.

Bike Safety

The Division of Public Safety encourages members of the campus community to follow these steps to avoid having their bicycle stolen (or, if it is stolen, to promote its safe return to its owner).

CampusGroups

CampusGroups is a tool that is used to help manage and promote student groups. It has the capabilities to control group membership, extensive email communications, manage finance and collect payments via PayPal.

Case Western Reserve Administrative Professional Series (CAPS)

The Case Western Reserve Administrative Professional Series (CAPS) provides training on the policies and procedures that direct employees’ stewardship of university funds. The series is comprised of three online and 10 in-person courses. These courses provide critical information regarding:

Directory Service

The contact information for faculty, staff and students is available within the Case Western Reserve University telephone directory. By visiting case.edu/directory, users can search for individuals within CWRU including Alumni listings, departmental listings and the student directory. All information is stored and maintained in compliance with the Acceptable Use Policy.

Employee Perks and Extras

Case Western Reserve University faculty and staff have access to various programs just for being a valued employee.

Keymanager.case.edu

Keymanager.case.edu is a website used to request medeco keys. Any issues technical in nature should be sent to the UGEN Support group. If there are any non-technical issues, please contact Access Services (access@case.edu, 216-368-2273).

Libraries

The university operates eight libraries, including the Kelvin Smith Library (KSL), which is the main library supporting the teaching and research of CWRU.

LinkedIn Learning

CWRU students, faculty and staff have unlimited free access to LinkedIn Learning, a leading video-based training provider that offers thousands of training courses on products including Google Apps, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, as well as on topics such as web development, audio/video production, computer programming, mobile device app design, general design concepts, professional skills and much more.

Spartan Reservation System

The Spartan Reservation System can be used by students, faculty and staff to request rooms and services in a vast majority of buildings located at Case Western Reserve University. Users will find several request forms because each building has different booking rules and processes at http://www.case.edu/reservations. A Reference Guide with step-by-step instructions is also available.

Spartan Ride

In accordance with the Case Western Reserve University commitment to sustaining campus safety, the CWRU Department of Police and Security has implemented the Safe Ride program. Safe Ride will provide transportation across campus, as well as University Circle, during the evening until the early morning hours daily. Anyone with a valid CWRU ID can use this service. Safe Ride can provide a lift equipped vehicle for anyone that may need these specific transportation requirements.

SpectrumU is a streaming service that allows you to watch over 125 live TV channels and on-demand content on your computer or mobile device while on the CWRU network.

The Daily

The Daily (formerly known as Case Daily) is the daily electronic newsletter issued to the university community from by the Case Western Reserve University office of Marketing and Communications.  It is the official internal communication record of the university's administration.
